Olympic gymnast, Sam Peszek and her coach, Peter Zhao visit the White House!

DeVeau’s Sam Peszek and Peter Zhao were among the 2008 USA Olympians
that were invited to visit the White House in Washington, D.C. on
Tuesday, Oct. 7. The President addressed the group of Olympians!
Afterwards, the Olympians were treated to a tour of the White House.

Our own Sam Peszek filmed a show with her Olympic teammates in San Diego a few weeks ago. It is called Frosted Pink with a Twist, and airs Sunday, Oct. 12 on ABC.

Frosted Pink with a Twist is a dynamic television special that joins members of the 2008 US Olympic gymnastics team with Grammy-Award winning musical talent to raise awareness and encourage action about cancers primarily affecting women.  Through the combination of music and sport, Frosted Pink with a Twist lends a unique format to provide cancer education, encourage dialogue, celebrate survivorship and empower women to become advocates for their health.

Hosted by Olympic champions Shannon Miller and Scott Hamilton, the show will highlight 2008 Olympic gold medalists Shawn Johnson and Nastia Luikin and the men’s and women’s US Olympic gymnastics teams. Paired with our champion gymnasts will be icons of song, such as Grammy winners Carole King and Cyndi Lauper, Kenny Loggins, pop-sensations Jesse McCartney and Natasha Bedingfield and R&B crooner Mario, making for a historical event of sports, entertainment and health awareness.
